About us
At Volvo Group, we are shaping the future of sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions. With digitalization at the core of our transformation, we are building strong capabilities that enable speed, collaboration, and business impact across our global organization.
We are now looking for a Transformation & Chapter Lead for the Agile Chapter in Poland, based in Wroclaw — a key leadership role combining driving agile transformation at scale, capability building, and people leadership.
About the role
As Transformation & Chapter Lead, you will lead and develop a team of Agile Coaches while playing a central role in driving our agile transformation across the domain.
This is a dual leadership role with a strong strategic dimension:
· Transformation leadership: Enabling teams, leaders, and product organizations to increase maturity, predictability, and value delivery
· People leadership: Growing and supporting your chapter members to thrive, develop, and deliver impact
You will work closely with senior domain leadership, product management, and other chapter leads to strengthen ways of working, shape operating models, and ensure alignment with our strategic direction.
Key responsibilities
Agile Transformation, Coaching & Capability Building
· Drive agile maturity across teams, product areas, and leadership
· Coach, mentor, and train stakeholders at all levels, from teams to senior leadership, on agile principles, practices, and mindset
· Design and deliver training and workshops to build agile capabilities
· Support the adoption and evolution of frameworks and internal operating models
· Enable teams and leaders to improve predictability, flow, and continuous improvement
Strategic Leadership & Operational Alignment
· Partner with domain and product leaders to align ways of working with business goals
· Contribute to planning cycles, OKRs, and transformation initiatives
· Support the evolution of operating models and cross-domain collaboration
· Act as a key contributor in the broader Agile Chapter community
People & Chapter Leadership
· Lead, coach, and develop a team of Agile Coaches
· Drive competence growth, staffing, and long-term capability development within the chapter
· Foster a strong, collaborative, supportive, and learning-oriented chapter culture
· Support career development, feedback, and performance conversations
Who are you?
You are a strong leader with a strong ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. You combine people leadership with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive meaningful change in complex environments.
You bring:
· Proven experience in Agile Coaching, Scrum Mastering, or Agile Leadership
· Deep understanding of agile ways of working
· Strong people leadership experience (line management or equivalent)
· Demonstrated experience working closely with senior leadership teams and influencing strategic direction
· Experience in designing and delivering training, mentoring leaders, and building organizational capabilities
· Experience from agile transformation journeys
· Experience working in large global environments
· A collaborative mindset with strong communication and facilitation skills
What’s in it for you?
· Opportunity to shape our agile transformation in a key delivery hub
· A leadership role with real impact on teams, leaders, and business outcomes
· A strong network of experienced coaches and leaders across the organization
· A culture that values growth, collaboration, and continuous learning
