During 15 intense and exciting months, our Operations Graduate Program will give you a holistic view of our operational and logistic activities, including both the local and global perspective. You will be working with the technologies of tomorrow, building the products of the future – electric, connected and automated. In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions.
You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several local and international on the job-rotations and work on business-critical projects developing your competencies for tomorrow. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations. In addition, you will gather with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

Our Organization
Volvo Group Trucks Operations (GTO) in Skövde is a vital part of the Volvo Group’s global manufacturing network. Located in Skövde, Sweden, the facility specializes in engine manufacturing as well as the production of wheel hub, batteries, and e-axles. Through its advanced operations, the site plays a significant role in supporting the Volvo Group’s commitment to technological innovation and sustainable transport solutions.
This is us, your new team
The Manufacturing Engineering Assembly team consists of 18 engineers specializing in engines, batteries, and e-axles. Our responsibilities include design, optimization, EOL verification and management of product assembly processes within a manufacturing environment.
Main activities and responsibilities
As a Data Analyst Assembly, you will support our engineering and production teams by finding ways to use Smart Business Data in production processes. Your role will include troubleshooting and identifying operational challenges, as well as detecting bottlenecks and proposing data-driven countermeasures. You will analyze production flows and logistics to reduce losses and improve efficiency. Additionally, you will develop transparent and intuitive visualizations that clearly present production data and insights.

We are seeking a person who demonstrates strong creativity, collaborative thinking and analytical skills. You possess a genuine interest in and understanding of our products and systems with the ability to ensure user-friendly solutions. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, takes initiative, and works independently to drive projects forward.
Required knowledge/experience:
· You may hold a degree in one of the following, or a similar discipline: Bachelor or Master's in Circular Economy, Data Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Industrial Economics and Management, Automation Engineering, UX design, Data Science with a focus on production or industrial management
· Experience within manufacturing or operational business and familiarity with production excellence methodologies such as TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or PDCA is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
· Maximum two years of previous full-time working experience, prior to or after graduation. Work during studies are not included.
· In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in Swedish and English.
· Valid work or study permit for Sweden if not a citizen.
