The Finance Graduate Program

If you are up for the challenge of developing our future Finance function and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!   

  

During 12 intense months, you will get an end-to-end perspective of our Finance functions and how we co-drive the business, both from a local as well as from a Volvo Group perspective. From day one, you will have a permanent role in one of our organizations, where you will play an active role in daily deliveries. In parallel, you will participate in a number of common training weeks with the other Finance graduates throughout the year, do various job rotations to increase your insights of the Volvo Group and last but not least you will grow as a person. Your professional and personal growth will be supported through individual and team development sessions, mentoring, coaching and feedback.  

  

You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business, which will help you get a holistic view and build your future career within the Volvo Group. Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe and senior leaders to help you excel. Our Organisazation - Group Finance

Group Finance is dedicated to driving the Volvo Group's financial strategy and supporting the overall Group strategy. Our focus areas include financial reporting, performance management, transformation & digitalization, and competence development within finance. We are committed to both operational and strategic excellence, ensuring that we deliver impactful results across all areas of concern. 

Your Future Team

At Group Finance Business Controll, we are a small but close team supporting top management with holistic analyses and presentations on our financial performance. We collaborate closely with Finance colleagues across the Volvo Group, playing a key role in supporting the Volvo Group strategy and developing financial models and principles.

In your role as a Group Business Controller, you will provide management with transparent financial performance analyses and actively participate in developing financial models and tools for our future success. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a holistic perspective of the Volvo Group. Who are you?

We are looking for a curious, service-minded graduate with high integrity to join our team. We believe you have strong analytical, communication, and digital skills, as well as an interest in developing financial models and tools. We work in a global and multi-cultural environment, where both collaboration and the ability to work independently are equally important.

 

Requirements for this role

·  University Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
·  Strong analytical, communication and digital skills and an interest in developing financial models and tools
·  Experience in data analytics or visualization tools such as Power BI or similar
·  Proficiency Excel and comfortable working with large data sets
·  Fluency in both speaking and writing in English
·  Maximum 2 years of fulltime work experience prior to or after graduation, excluding work during studies
·  A valid study or work permit for the country to which you apply (if not a citizen)
