In this position you will...
· Be responsible for development and follow-up of Volvo CE’s commercial strategies, including pricing, inventory
· Support Field Sales organization and Management by providing relevant, timely analysis of the company’s commercial performance and market activities.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
· Analyze and report market developments across product lines and market segments.
· Establishes and provides regular monthly/quarterly data reporting of relevant market data and industry business intelligence. Evaluates the success of Volvo strategies, tactics, and positioning, relative to competitors as evidenced through market share trends and developments.
· Applies Volvo’s volume and pricing strategy to understand their ability to impact share development and the organization’s ability to achieve established company targets.
· Provides input and support to the Commercial Management team as they develop and refine volume plan (short term & long range) in conjunction with the pricing strategy.
· Works as a key interface between Volvo and the Association of Equipment Manufacturer’s (AEM).

Required knowledge, experience, and education
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance
· Master’s degree or MBA a plus
· Minimum three years of successful, progressive experience in Market Analysis and/or Sales Analysis.
· Experience with construction equipment or related technical industry.
Additional Important Requirements:
· Works with others in an office environment
· Able to perform duties effectively in a fast paced environment whether working autonomously or under direction
· Some travel may be required
· Business mindset, results driven, composed, positive attitude.
· Proficient skills required in problem solving, analysis, interpersonal, verbal & written communications, and project organization
· Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, bridging gaps, reconciling conflicts, and decomposing high-level information into the details
· Well-developed computer skills including Excel, Access, Business Objects, PowerPoint. Experience using Visual Basic, building Macro’s, and/or SQL programming a plus.
· Excellent Quantitative, Analytical, and Finance acumen with the ability to apply
· common sense
· Strong base of analytical skills to assess, interpret and translate information from multiple data sources into actionable insights.
