What you will do
The purpose of this position is to provide support to Mack Truck dealers in the new truck quote, specification, and order process by providing assistance with configuring truck specifications, including special customer adaptations requested by an end customer. Support will take the form of phone, email, and various system tools used by Mack to communicate feasibility and pricing responses back to dealers and end customers.
This position is located in Macungie, PA.
Core Responsibilities:
• Handle dealer inquiries on the Sales Engineering 1-800 line, and email as required.
• Maintain integrity of orders to be built despite: supply chain disturbances, design changes, quality findings, and IT issues.
• Direct and guide dealers and customers in selection of the right vehicles and options for a specific operation.
• Facilitate meetings and represent Sales Engineering in discussion surrounding changes to in-house vehicle quotes and orders.
• Ensure vehicle performance via in-house and vendor tools.

Minimum Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years creative problem-solving experience.
• Must be familiar with PC operations including word processing, Excel, and PowerPoint applications. Some programming experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple systems to capture data.
