What you will do
• Ensure that the assembly of components is carried out on the premise that safety, quality, and productivity meet standards:
o Conduct visual inspections of components to ensure they are visually qualified.
o Follow work standard documents and adopt correct operation methods and procedures for assembly and testing.
o Perform self-inspections and fill out self-inspection forms.
• Carry out 5S and corresponding AM work at the workstation every day.
• Continuously improve the work and workstation engaged in.
• Accept job rotation training arranged by supervisors.
• Timely report issues arising in the work to the person in charge, and jointly discuss with relevant colleagues to seek solutions.
• Regularly receive safety education, correctly wear personal protective equipment, and strictly comply with safety rules and regulations.
• Accept other work tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Comply with the Volvo Way / Code of Conduct.
Who are you?
• Able to read part drawings and assembly drawings.
• Proficient in using equipment/instruments related to the installation of precision components.
• Ability to identify and solve component assembly problems.
• College degree or above, major in automotive assembly and adjustment is preferred.
• Fitter technician qualification certificate is preferred.
• More than three years of relevant operational experience, such as: assembly/repair experience of gearboxes/axles for various vehicles.
