Job description

We are looking for a Developer to join the Ubisoft Connect team.  Ubisoft Connect  is the ecosystem of player services for Ubisoft games across all platforms. It aims to give the best environment for all players to enjoy their games and connect with each other on any device. 

As part of the team, you will contribute to developing features and technology, ranging from their design up to deployment, with optimization along the way in different parts of our player-facing client and in-game overlay as well as other products in the ecosystem. 

You will join a global, multi-disciplinary team where everyone is willing to expand their knowledge and encouraged to continue learning new things. The team is characterized by craftsmanship and a passion for delivering exceptional gaming experiences. You will work in close collaboration with the other programmers, designers and testers in your agile team, with the opportunity to visit and work from collaborating studios. 

What you'll do 

· 
Develop and maintain front-end features for our player-facing client and in-game overlay. 

· 
Manage build and CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient development workflows. 

· 
Write clean, maintainable, and standards-compliant code. 

· 
Participate in team Scrum ceremonies. 

· 
Collaborate with other programmers, designers, and testers to enhance our codebase. 

· 
Primarily use TypeScript, React, and GraphQL. 

What you bring

· 
Production experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably React). 

· 
Proficiency in setting up single-page applications and designing maintainable architectures. 

· 
Experience mentoring and coaching other developers. 

· 
Strong interest and expertise in TypeScript. 

· 
Familiarity with common JavaScript tools (e.g., Vite) and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest). 

· 
Experience (or willingness to learn) in developing and maintaining GraphQL server. 

· 
Experience in designing and consuming APIs. 

· 
Understanding of techniques to optimize web performance and ensure fast load times. 

· 
Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab. 

· 
Ability to create web applications that work well on various devices and screen sizes. Knowledge of CSS frameworks (e.g., Sass, Less) and modern layout techniques (e.g., Flexbox, Grid). 

· 
Basic understanding of backend development, databases, and server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python). 

· 
Knowledge of CI/CD practices  

· 
Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and problem-solving abilities.
