Our studio’s goal has always been – and still is – to craft the finest gaming experiences for all players.

At Massive, you get to do what you love most while bringing your own experience to our ongoing projects, like Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and Star Wars Outlaws. We're also developing new tech here, such as our in-house engine Snowdrop, and Ubisoft Connect - Ubisoft's digital ecosystem and distribution platform.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™ is a first person, action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment – a Ubisoft studio in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. Built using the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine, and developed exclusively for the new generation of consoles and PC, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora brings to life the alluring world of Pandora with all of its beauty and danger in an immersive, open world experience.

Working in close collaboration with the Production team, the Localization Project Manager is responsible for coordinating multilingual game localization. You’ll find the most suitable solutions to achieve local market targets, and cope with linguistic and technical constraints and project specifications. The adaptation to target cultures and markets consists of translation, voice-over production, integration, and linguistic quality assurance from a source language, usually English, to several destination languages (FIGS, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese etc.). You’ll also work with internationalization and localizability, ensuring from a technical, process and linguistic/content perspective that the product can be localized easily, on time and on budget.

We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply using English, our company's primary language.

·  Analyzing the game scope and content from the localization perspective and establish localization strategies and linguistic guidelines for the project.
·  Working in close collaboration with other departments, including Production, Narrative and Voice, to plan translations, voice-over production (including casting, recordings and post-production) and localization quality assurance, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and on budget.
·  Coordinating and ensuring deliveries and integrating all localized assets properly in-game.
·  Managing the localization budget, planning and risk assessment, and handling related administrative tasks, including following up on invoices.
·  Developing the localization pipeline and, in close collaboration with our Snowdrop and Tools teams, support its further development.
·  Handling internal and external relations (Production, external/internal localization teams, Marketing, Business).
·  Project follow-up and controlling to meet quality standards, budget and deadlines.

What You'll Bring

You have an interest in games and are keenly committed to the field of localization, ready to advocate for its importance within both the development team and the wider studio to enhance the department's work. You can defend your ideas and suggestions in clear presentations and always want to reach the best quality within your expertise, being open and willing to learn. You’ll be encouraged to try new things while communicating effectively with all the teams around you to reach the best pipeline possible. You thrive on organizing and overseeing your assignments on your own and show keen interest in the technical components and principles related to localizing extensive projects.

Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values    and the following skills and experience:

·  Experience with localization projects (especially in the games industry, including full audio localization);
