Job Description
STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is seeking to recruit a Plant Facilities Engineer within the Plant Facilities Department.
Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Organizing preventative and predictive maintenance of facilities assets and systems.
· Coordinating works with vendors and contractors following H&S guidelines.
· Providing coordination and direction for the maintenance team.
· Raising 8D and root cause analysis reports and investigation tools.
· Providing support, guidance and effective communications to internal customers and facilities team.
· Ensuring that a comprehensive TPM program is fully operational and effective, including: reliability-centered maintenance; preventative and predictive maintenance program.
· Ensuring that all tasks are managed and reported within the CMMS work order system.
· Maintaining and modifying maintenance procedures.
· Updating and reviewing Control Plan and OCAP.
· Ensuring that all plant repairs, additions, and modifications meet or exceed industry workmanship standards and that all required permits are obtained.
· Ensuring the suppliers' service meet expectations.
· Ensuring that critical spares inventories are available (on or off-site)
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate shall:
· Bachelor`s degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or related science/engineering field.
· Have training/experience/knowledge with TPM, TQM, and plant maintenance methodologies and philosophies.
· Possess good experience with Facilities operational systems (which includes but is not limited to: HVAC, CDA, Facilities Management System, Process Cooling Water, Exhaust, chemical, DI water, etc.
· Have good written, verbal, and presentation skills.
· Be effective and timely interfacing with all organizations (Factory maintenance and other support functions) is required.
· The nature of the job requires working at heights, climbing ladders/scaffolds, clean room environments, and some hands-on activities both inside and outdoors.
