Job description

About

At Steerlab, our mission is to empower Sales teams to win more deals. We do so by automating their response to RFPs (Requests for Proposals), Security Questionnaires, and other vendor questionnaires with AI.

By leveraging fine-tuned language models and multi-modal, agentic AI systems, we turn answers that used to take days into minutes: factual, on-brand, and ready to submit, while surfacing the insights that drive up win rates.

We're just getting started. We're backed by top-tier VCs, and teams at Bolt, GoFundMe and Staffbase already win with Steerlab. Now we're scaling fast and growing the team to take this much further.

Job Description

Own qualified pipeline as your #1 KPI, and build the growth and community engine that gets us there. Three pillars:

Demand and growth

·
Own qualified pipeline generation as the number one marketing KPI, and partner with Sales on clear lead to pipeline to revenue targets

·
Design and run multi-channel demand programs (LinkedIn and Google ads, content, events) that turn top-of-funnel awareness into real opportunities

·
Track marketing ROI across channels and double down on what works

Community and events

·
Own an annual events strategy with a clear view of where we invest and what we expect back

·
Launch and scale hosted formats (dinners, customer roundtables, workshop series) and own our conference presence end to end: contracting, booth, logistics, on-site, and follow-up

·
Build the targeting and outreach process (with Sales) that puts the right people in the room, and turn all of it into repeatable playbooks so the program scales

Content and brand

·
Own Steerlab's content end to end: show up several times a week on LinkedIn with product updates and posts, plus spotlights, newsletters, and short videos

·
Create product guides and blog posts, optimized for SEO and GEO (getting cited by AI answer engines) wherever possible

·
Oversee brand, launches, and messaging with a growth lens, so every activity ties back to pipeline

Preferred Experience

·
You've done the work before: 3+ years in B2B fast-moving startup marketing with a proven track record selling to Enterprise and upper mid-market, and you run autonomously from strategy to execution

·
Player-coach: you set the plan and ship the work yourself

·
AI-native operator: you use LLMs daily and build with them

·
A natural gatherer: you build relationships and people want to be in the room you create, whether it's a founder dinner, a roundtable, or a conference

·
Demand operator: you're comfortable across paid (LinkedIn, Google), SEO/GEO, content, and events, and you tie all of it back to pipeline

·
Strong on stakeholders and influence: you work effectively across Product, Sales, and CS, bring the business acumen to drive the strategic agenda, and can identify, onboard, and manage agencies and freelancers as needed

·
Clear, concise writer: you write in a startup-friendly voice, not corporate and not "marketing," and you move easily between technical and thought-leadership content in excellent English

·
Creative, organized, scrappy, and biased toward action.

·
Automation chops: at ease with marketing ops, sequences, attribution, and simple workflows in tools like Claude, n8n, etc.

What’s in it for you?

·
Be the first growth and marketing hire and define how Steerlab grows from day one

·
Work directly with the founders, and daily with Sales, Product, and Engineering

·
Direct impact on revenue: qualified pipeline is the scoreboard, and it's yours

·
Real ownership, high trust and room to experiment
