At Steerlab, our mission is to empower Sales teams to win more deals. We do so by automating their response to RFPs (Requests for Proposals), Security Questionnaires, and other vendor questionnaires with AI.

By leveraging fine-tuned language models and multi-modal, agentic AI systems, we turn answers that used to take days into minutes: factual, on-brand, and ready to submit, while surfacing the insights that drive up win rates.

Job Description

Be the founders' right hand and own the operating backbone of the company. The priorities will shift as we grow, but the core is to:

· 
Lead high-priority initiatives end to end, from strategy through execution, across the whole business

· 
Act as a thought partner to the founders, turning ambiguous problems into clear decisions

· 
Build and run the operating cadence: planning, OKRs, board materials, and the rhythms that keep the team aligned

· 
Find and fix the operational bottlenecks slowing the company down, often where no playbook exists yet

· 
Own the special projects that matter most: fundraising, strategic partnerships, new launches, market research

· 
Keep finance running: budgeting, runway, reporting, vendors, and fundraising support

· 
Keep hiring and people running: recruiting process, onboarding, and the foundations that protect the culture as we scale

· 
Dive into the weeds to get things across the finish line, and create process only where it speeds the business up

Preferred Experience

· 
3+ years in high-performing environments: top-tier consulting, investment banking, VC-backed startups, or an equivalent role

· 
Generalist edge: BizOps, Chief of Staff, or a generalist role at a high-growth startup is a strong plus, ideally with exposure to finance or people operations

· 
Structured thinker who turns chaos into clarity: you synthesize cleanly in writing for founders, investors, and the whole team

· 
Analytical: you dig into data and pull out the insight that drives a decision

· 
Comfortable in the mess: unafraid of incomplete data and confident making calls without certainty

· 
Relentless executor: trusted to own complex, cross-functional work end to end

· 
Scrappy and resourceful: you do what it takes to move the business forward

· 
Fluent in English (French is a plus)

Recruitment Process

Designed to find generalists who turn ambiguity into clarity and own work end to end.

· 
Intro call (20 to 30 min): your background, how you work, and context on the role. A mutual fit check.

· 
Practical working session (60 to 90 min): a real Steerlab problem, for example scoping a strategic initiative or untangling an operational bottleneck, plus how you'd structure it. We care how you think and execute.

· 
Final conversation and culture fit (30 min): with the founders, on ways of working, ownership, and values, plus references.

·
