• In your new position as "Working Student (f/m/d) Business Strategy - Commercial Finance" you will be part of the Business Development Projects department within the Commercial Finance business unit of Siemens Financial Services
• You will work closely with colleagues based around the world and across a range of different cultures as part of a global department providing strategic support to commercial finance businesses in 14 countries
• Your work on a wide range of strategic topics will advise members of the Global Leadership Team in formulating strategy
• You will prepare market and competitor analyses with a focus on the leasing market and provide support on strategic ad hoc issues
• You will research topics such as: financial services trends, developments in the leasing market, competitive landscape, potential growth areas etc. and prepare information and data (Excel, PowerPoint)
• You will leverage and develop your research skills to identify publicly available information that provides critical business insight from sources such as industry associations, competitor’ annual reports, governmental statistical agencies and intergovernmental organisations
• You will support the preparation of various strategy presentations and contribute your creative and conceptual skills

Use your skills to move the world forward.

• You are studying Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a comparable analytic or research-based subject
• You are interested in strategy consulting and have an affinity for the topic of financial services and its future trends (digitalization, XaaS, new financing models)
• You enjoy research, have a keen interest in current events and have a high affinity for numbers and strategic topics
• Basic understanding of financial statement analysis is an advantage
• Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in the areas concerned through your university course or work experience
• You are familiar with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Initial experience in using visualization software such as Tableau is a plus
• You have very good written and spoken English skills, additional languages are a benefit
