We are now looking for a number ofenthusiastic Maintenance / Trouble Shooter Technicians to join theLondon Array Service Project.

What are my responsibilities?

As a Maintenance / Trouble Shooter Technician, you will be you will be part of a permanently employed dedicated service team. You will be able carry out all of the duties associated with the service and scheduled maintenance of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) wind turbine generators.You will deliver excellent service and meantime between faults (MTBF) while ensuring compliance with SGRE internal processes and procedures, UK Legislation, EHS and Quality

The role will involve flexibility between service and other scheduled maintenance roles across the year. The role will be predominantly based from an onshore facility with transportation to offshore wind turbine generators via a CTV. The shift pattern will be based around annualised hours planned to be 1 week on 1 week off throughout the year.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

· Active safety leadership when in the turbine and in the Wind Farm - ensure correct reporting of incidents and accidents, near misses and unsafe acts and conditions. Ensure compliance with Siemens standards and UK legislation in relation to EHS, Quality and Service delivery.
· Leadand/or assist team in delivery of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at site and preparation and execution of work packages / tasks
· Develop and deliver technical and safety Tool Box Talk’s and be responsible for Tool maintenance and management.
· Remote diagnosis of turbine faults.
· Assist in control of any incidents on site in accordance with emergency response plan.
· Ensure compliance with customer and contractual obligations whilst executing work packages / tasks. Guarantee compliance with site rules and regulations.
· Maintain efficient timescales for delivery of service activities, assist in the creation of daily, weekly plans for site teams as in conjunction with Service Planner / Service Coordinator / Stores Operators if required.
· Provide accurate time booking data and be the onsite support for customer operational issues and site visits
· Comply with task related EHS, Quality and Technical documentation and ensure compliance at site level with all requirements. e.g. Work Instructions, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
· Provide accurate reporting into and utilisation of MORS database and other electronic workflow systems.
· Work proactively with 3rd party technicians, contractors and sub-contractors and facilitate planning and execution of 3rd party work including EHS compliance.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

This role requires someone with experience working as a Maintenance / Trouble Shooter Technician, ideally on the G4 platform offshore. You will have experience of working with a large range of contractors and customers as well as good understanding of customer management.

You will have practical experience of working with MS Office applications and preferably SAP, MORS and remote diagnostic tools. Offshore experience is preferable but not essential.

You will be a competent individual who is able to work under pressure and as part of service technicians’ team. You will have the ability to work shifts at the project location (exact shift patterns tbc). This role also requires you to have some knowledge about health and safety legislations and demonstrating experience in writing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Ideally you will have a Comprehensive understanding of and a consistent ability to demonstrate your own competency levels as a Technician, Competent Technician and Maintenance Technician.

This role requires the person to reside within a 1 hour journey from the London Array facility in Ramsgate, Kent. Must be able to commute to port call location in Ramsgate by own means.

Please note that this role also requires shift working as per business needs. Due to the location of the role and the role requirements, the successful candidate must have a valid driving licence.
