The Siemens Industry, Inc.distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking a Waste Treatment Operator tobe an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. As a Waste Treatment Operator, you will:

  • Perform analyses, recordingmeasurements/actions in applicable record logs.
  • Recognize unusual, inefficient, ordangerous operating conditions and be able to take immediate actions.
  • Inspect equipment and perform routinecleaning/preventive maintenance.
  • Keep work area neat and organized.
  • Monitor and regulate waste treatmentdischarge to align with all applicable regulations.
  • Ability to keep working relationships,communicate effectively and work with minimum supervision.


You will have impact if you have the following minimumqualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing environmentfor +1 year.
  • Preferred experience in Physical ChemicalWaste Treatment Process (1-3 years).
  • Current license in physical chemicalwastewater treatment.
  • Knowledge of process chemicals; dangersassociated with safely handling hazardous chemicals.
  • Solid understanding of operation, methods,and procedures of waste treatment.
  • General arithmetic
  • Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, andpush/pull/slide heavy material
  • Make coordinated movements of the handsand arms to grasp and move objects.
  • Stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb
  • Speak, read, write and comprehend theEnglish language

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Ideal candidate will have a degree inscience. Waste treatment license “D” or higher with “A” being preferred.
