Wash Booth Operator
Position Overview
Responsible for cleaning and washing bearing housings, yokes, castings and other various machine parts.This position is a 1st shift position reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor.This position is in a collective bargaining Union.
Responsibilities
·Perform various deburring operations, cleaning and washing bearing housings, yokes, castings and other various machine parts per manufacturing methods.
·Use multimeter and other simple testing equipment.
·Interpret drawings, specifications and Manufacturing Methods.
·Measure and record dimensions using measuring equipment related to processes.
·Stamp or sign-off and date labor packet operations being performed.
·Perform material handling, and other assigned tasks (hand truck, crane).
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Must have the physical ability to perform work required
· Must be able to read and understand all drawings and Bill of Materials
· Ability to read a tape measure
· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
