Verification & Validation Engineer for system-test - Prague

Job description

In the Siemens R&D Corporate Technology center we are focused on a complete development of the product including software, hardware and mechanical design, verification and validation. Results of our work are to be found in many Siemens products in the field of industrial and rail automation.

Opportunity to work on project: SIRIUS – every automated production line needs low voltage switching gear. This team works on implementation of innovative ideas into a manufacturing praxis in this area.

Your task will be

· to develop automated test-system for AS-Interface Master ( http://w3.siemens.com/mcms/industrial-controls/en/industrial-communication/as-interface/Pages/default.aspx )
· to create test-plan, design and implement automated test-procedures in cooperation with our colleagues in Germany
· to create SIMATIC PLC program in TIA portal
· to perform tests and generate test-report declaring conformity to requirements and standards
· communication with team members in the office and Germany
· to provide documentation according to internal guidelines

What we will appreciate from you

· university degree or adequate praxis in software engineering, electro engineering, automation, cybernetic, IT, communication technology or similar
· deep experience with SIMATIC PLC, TIA portal, SCL
· at least user experience with PROFINET and/or PROFIBUS
· knowledge of C# and/or Python
· good knowledge of German language (A2-B1)
· very good knowledge of English language (B2 and higher)
· team spirit, analytical and system thinking, real passion for quality
