To strengthen our tax team in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S we are looking for an Indirect Tax Manager who will be responsible for VAT advisory and compliance. In this position you will be responsible for providing reliable VAT support to internal stakeholders, recognizing issues to manage risks and at the same time fulfill VAT compliance responsibilities.

The tax team is managing the tax function for Siemens Gamesa. In this respect the tax team is aiming and complying with tax regulations, minimizing tax exposure and realizing tax savings. As our new Indirect Tax Manager you will report to the Tax Director.

What are my responsibilities?

· Provide proactive advice and training to the business

· Identify and mitigate VAT risks and optimise VAT opportunities to amongst other supply chain models, ownership of goods and business models

· Ensure correct and timely VAT reporting to Danish and foreign tax authorities

· Monitor developments within VAT legislation in Denmark and other countries which may become relevant for the business

· Ensure a proper and efficient SAP system set-up

· Responsible for VAT audits in Denmark and other countries which may become relevant

· Support the business by ensuring compliance with energy taxes

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· You have a relevant educational background such as Cand.merc.aud.; cand.merc.jur., skatterevisor or equivalent

· You have at least 3 - 5 years of work experience with indirect taxes from a big firm or in the industry

· Preferable if you have experience with SAP

· Preferable if you have experience with Danish energy taxes

· You are analytic, engaged and ambitious which makes you comfortable leading multiple projects and working independently

· You are fluent in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing. Our corporate language is English
