The Global Contracts Team provides responsive and comprehensive support solutions that deliver the highest level of service and maximizes customer satisfaction.  The position of Service Contract Specialist is the first point of contact for service sales team support.   

Major Responsibilities

Prepare Service Contract quotations in partnership with the Service Manager and acquire appropriate approvals. (Salesforce.com). 

Validate and book Service Contracts (SAP). 

Drive the Service Contract renewal process by preparing and reviewing quotes with stakeholders.

Input and maintain the accuracy of customer related data in SAP.

Handle critical customer enquiries (both internal and external) such as quotations and orders in a timely manner.

Meet all local and global financial timelines including monthly, quarterly and annual period closes.

Develop and submit monthly reports and forecasts, as required.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team building activities.

Establish and accurately maintain electronic and hard copy filing system and records for audit and quality assurance purposes Participate in internal and external audits.

Performs other related duties and special projects as required.



Skills, experience and attributes
Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English 
Prior experience in a sales environment, and/or in contact management, medical, pharma, scientific or technology industries highly desirable
Highly motivated, proactive, strong problem solving skills and target and solution oriented 
Attention to detail, Self motivated and results focused.
Ability to collaborate effectively with local and global internal teams.
