Role description and core responsabilities:

• Our Inspector will assist our customers to achieve construction requisites andobjectives.
• Review project progress to assess how closely it's proceeding to theprojected timeline.
• Communicate about ongoing site work with Project Managers, Site Planners,and other departments.
• Conduct regular site inspections to validate chronograms and answer contractorsand customers questions.
• May work at client site from time to time.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Meet with customers/customers contractors and perform site visits andhelp the customer prepare their facility for a successful and efficientinstallation.
• Monitor customer facilities, ensuring they are ready for preparation.
• Provide reports indicating installation activities.
• Will work at client site to review progress and conduct project meetings.
• Up to 75% travel to client site to review progress and conduct projectmeetings.
• Advise customers on complex facility requirements, needs and/or changesincluding, but not limited to, safety requirements, room layout and electrical,plumbing and HVAC requirements.
• Perform routine project management and site planning to ensure customercompliance with building and technical requirements, both Varian’s and local municipalities,for equipment installations.
• Advise customers on complex facility requirements, needs and/or changesincluding, but not limited to, power and network requirements, workstationlay-out, and server requirements.

Your attributes and skills:

• Experience in field customer service, Construction management, Engineering or Architecture. With strong knowledge in electrical installations
• Must have strong customer service acumen
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Medical device experience
• Basic negotiating and conflict management skills desired
• Must have a general knowledge of construction and electrical codes, andgovernment radiation regulations
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Ability to understand English language at an intermediate level
• Travel required (Must have a valid passport)
