Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is seeking to add to our R&D team and we'd like youto be part of it! This role would be a part of a test team where we arededicated to test, verify, and validate a high-quality product to improve railsafety. We are passionate about testing and validating an embedded product. Youwill help our team to own quality and will analyze requirements, as well asimplementing all the measures to test and validate them.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Automation with Labview and building of test fixtures
  • Analyzing and validating requirements
  • Designing, implementing, and reviewing test cases
  • Verifying design and code
  • Participating in the overall test strategy
  • Improving test environment
  • 5-10% travel to PCB suppliers

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5 years test automation experience with Labview
  • Test experience of SW/HW integration on embedded systems
  • Strong knowledge of the testing methods
  • Strong attention to detail, an ability to multitask, and an ability to work independently and on a team

Preferredknowledge and skills:

  • Experience with embedded product development or testing
  • Experience with quality processes
  • Able to communicate efficiently with a broad cross section of technical and non-technical colleagues

Siemens offers a variety of health and wellnessbenefits to employees.  Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://www.benefitsquickstart.com/siemens/index.html. The base salary range for this position in Louisville, KY is $98,600 – $133,100.The salary may be higher or lowerdepending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, andqualifications.
