Test Automation Developer for Customized Automation

At our SiemensAdvanta R&D Center we are focused on a product development includingsoftware development, hardware development, mechanical design and testing forthe next generation concept of Industry 4.0.

Our team focus iscomplete industrial automation products development and product care during itslife cycle. We are developing state of art industrial modules, industrialcomputers, touch, and key panels like SIMATIC Unified, Basicor Mobile platforms and further operator industrial equipment likecommunication gateways, remote IO modules and accessories.  Hardware and software changes are frequent inour active products.

We are looking for a newcolleague, who will help us with the creation of an automated testingenvironment that will analyze and evaluate the behavior and functions of a bignetwork infrastructure (CISCO) and help develop and optimize the currentsolution that is in place. This network will be based on multiple virtualmachines that will be managed via python scrips or via user interface. Additionally, you’ll beresponsible for the creation of test plan based on DevOps Systems and internaltool Test Management system of current solutions or taking part of projectrelated activities.

Your task will be:

• Network communication: analyzing network protocols,multicast, network sniffing.
• Configuring switches.
• Design and construction of the Network infrastructure(CISCO).
• Create and conduct test sets according to requirementsanalysis.
• Participate and design reviews.
• Test results report.
• Programming of tests scripts.
• Design and construction of test infra structure.
• Create, setup, run and maintain virtual machines ordocker images

What we will appreciate fromyou:

• High school or university degree in technical area (orrelevant experience in
  technical field or manufacturing quality and processes)
• Very good organization skills, proactivity, and sensefor teamplay
• Analytical thinking and being solution oriented.
• English language at level allowing professional work.
• Knowledge on virtual machines management: VMwareVCenter, Esxi, Virtualization technologies is advantage
• Experiences with orchestration software to automatedeployment (e.g. Kubernetes) is advantage
• Experiences with Linux OS on advanced user level
• Network infrastructure (CISCO) - network protocols,multicast, network sniffing is an advantage.
• Knowledge on bash or in python: analyze logfiles, sendremote commands, ssh
