SiemensDigital Industries Automation Division is searching for a highly motivatedterritory sales professional with a passion for customer engagement andpromoting superior solutions helping customers meet the challenges of a digitalglobal marketplace. The Territory Account Manager will have a geography consisting of acombination of Enter, Expand, and Defend accounts and will be responsible forthe achievement of the account business targets in the respective territory toinclude account development, business development, and revenue generationleading to market share growth. The role is intended to be self-sufficient interms of product, technology, and solution knowledge at an executive level and1st level engineering discussion/conversations. This role is an individual contributor role reporting tothe Mid-Atlantic Territory Sales Manager, working 100% remote within thegeography.
We are looking for a Territory Account Manager. This position will be based in Virginia, with preference in Richmond or Roanoke.
You'll make an impact by:
- You will promote theentire DI Portfolio for both product and solutions - SCADA & factory automation, distributed controlsystems (DCS), low voltage drives, process and digitalization software suites,and digital connectivity products such as industrial networking, powersupplies, and RFID/IID/RTLS. coordinate and collaborate
- You will represent Digital Industries in all sales/strategic activitiesand acts as interface between the customers, distributors, solution partnersand Siemens.
- You will leverage theSiemens customer relationship management tool (CRM) to manage the entire salescycle and providing accurate forecasting information on a consistent basis.
- You will build and maintain a healthypipeline by uncovering new opportunities,following up on leads and managing the existing customer base.
- You will utilize social selling,prospecting, intent reporting, local industry event participation andnetworking to build new business contacts along with Siemens specific andindustry tools.
- You will ensure the seamless handover to project execution and deliveryteams.
- You will have the opportunity to join a strong team selling thebest end to end automation solutions in the market leveraging the digitalthread.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of previous experience selling technical products and solutions.
- 5+ years of professional experience overall
- BS in Engineering/related technical field orcombination of related work experience.
- Proven track record of developing new business opportunities in a teamingenvironment.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to identify or uncover acustomer’s specific challenge, develop relevant relationships with customer’sorganization, develop a strategy, propose a technical solution, and win theopportunity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Inherentability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Ability to both prospect/business develop and manage existing accountopportunities.
- Position requires 15% overnight travel.
PreferredQualifications:
- The candidate should possess technical knowledge of factory automation, process automation, motion control, drive systems, and Industrial Ethernet networks
- Knowledgeof customers and competitors within the defined territory
- Complex salesprocess and technology conversion experience
- 5+ years of experience selling technical products and solutions

- Thepay range for this position is $88,300-$151,400. and the annual incentive target is 42% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
