About the job

Responsibilities aka “Your Impact”:

• Lead coordination and planning for project activities to ensure that the processes run smoothly
• Where needed, work directly with vendors to ensure cost-effective service utilization and monitor internally for changes in budget or spend
• Manage the interaction between engineering, product and other functions by identifying priorities, defining cross-functional milestones, and coordinating schedules.
• Own project documentation, status tracking, and communication between stakeholders to ensure delivery and overall project health
• Contribute to an environment that's conducive to a great execution culture and removes obstacles to project completion

Essential Job Qualifications aka “Keys to Success”:

• 3+ years of experience as a project manager including experience launching / executing projects and prior experience managing software projects through their full lifecycle
• Proven ability to solve complicated problems creatively and effectively
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills, empathy for the needs of all stakeholders, and a track record of delivering projects
• An appreciation for software engineering and product management practices and ability to advocate for stakeholders and product owners as needed
• Experience in a rapid growth of the organization, working cross-functionally with teams delivering enterprise software
• Strong bias for action, demonstrated ability to drive projects forward and an intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity

Bonus Qualifications aka “Preferred, but not required”:

• Fluency with any of the following tools: Jira, Confluence, Excel, Powerpoint, MIRO, MS Teams
• Understanding of micro-service delivery models
• Project Management / Agile certifications highly desired

What you need

• 4 year degree in Computer Science (preferred) or related technical/engineering degree
• Software development, particularly web-based and Software-as-a-Service experience preferred
• 2+ years experience managing Agile project delivery, knowledge of Agile (scrum/Kanban)
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage time-critical projects
• Experience with MS Office suite of products such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Ability to work effectively in teams and most importantly, work in a virtual environment
• Personal integrity, always honest and an unfailing personal ethic of “doing the right thing”
