The Technical Training Specialist is part of the Customer Solutions team and is responsible for deliveringapproved training curriculumto North America customers for Core Lab products. The technical training willinclude basic operations and troubleshooting, and will bedelivered either in a training center, virtually, or at the customer site. Thisposition will also include up to 50 % of training systems maintenance.  This position will support allSiemens Healthineers Core Lab portfolio, with an initial focus on the Atellica Solutionand CI Analyzer, the most innovative solutions in the Laboratory Diagnosticsindustry.

The ideal candidate is a medicaltechnologist with experience in servicing laboratory systems, technical training,or curriculum development, or a biomedical engineer withexperience in the laboratory field.  This role is based in the Tarrytown, NYoffice and can include up to 50% travel.  Travel needs will vary based onbusiness needs.

·      Facilitate in-person and remote, basic and advanced trainingprograms

·      Provide technical input and update instructor-led and computer-basedtraining curriculum and pilot new programs as needed

·      Lead advanced programs curriculum updates to meet customers needsand business goals

·      Troubleshoot problems and successfully maintaininstruments when working in the training laboratory

• When not training, be responsible for systems proactive andreactive maintenance, as well as mandatory hardware and software updates timelycompletion
• Manage the training systems’ parts and reagents inventory

·      Collaborate cross-functionally to stay current and standardizetraining content. Work independently to interfacewith outside departments and effectively represents the Customer Solutions team.

·      Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase customersatisfaction and customer retention

·      Lead by example, demonstrate and promote the company culture andvalues

• Travel nationally as required – up to 50%

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillswith people in a wide range of organizational roles and education levels arerequired
• Understanding of the operations and workflow of a laboratory
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent preferred
• Biomedical Engineering background considered
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps is a plus
