Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission will be… 
  • Handling of incoming Service Requests by ticketing tool (ASSIST) or E-Mail;
  • Request all needed data to assess the request;
  • First analyze of issue based on provided data (e.g., check log files); 
  • Try to reproduce issue based on given scenario, if applicable;
  • Provide findings to development team in case of product issue;
  • Monitor status of service request - escalate according to process;
  • Interface to customer (external) and development team (internal);

We are looking for someone with… 
  • Completed technical education (university, technical college) in the field of information science, software engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology or an equivalent education/qualification;
  • Experience as an engineer/technologist in an industry-oriented environment;
  • Experience or general knowledge in automation and motion systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, Drives, etc) and programing languages (Ladder, FBD, STL, SCL);
  • Experience or general knowledge of Siemens Automation and Drives portfolio (e.g. S7-1200, S7-1500, TIA Portal, ET200SP, G120C, Micro-Drive, etc);
  • English spoken and written;
  • Professional communication skills to external customer and internal team members;
  • Ability to work in a team and interest in working in innovative projects.
