Duties: Managing Simulation & Test Solutions (STS) software delivery life cycles to ensure high-quality, on-time releases. Primary focus is on Simcenter 3D and Nastran products. Works with development and product management teams to ensure relevant development and quality gates are completed. Mitigates risks to on-time delivery of releases. Reviews export compliance, license updates, and customer patches. Prepares release documentation and announcements. Administers and coordinates Early Access Programs (EAP). Timely review of M200 & M280 Self-Check for Export Compliance with management – Quality Gates. Administer and coordinate EAP from inception to close for each main release and types.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or project manager-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following:
1. 5 years of experience in Software development or software engineering
2. 5 years of experience in Software release processes policies and guidelines
3. 5 years of experience in STAR-CCM+, NX, and Simcenter 3D products
4. 5 years of experience in C structured and C++ object oriented programming techniques
5. 5 years of experience in Software development processes, testing processes, build and development operations, and project management used in developing CAE software
6. 5 years of experience in Perforce, Visual Studio, and Windows and Linux operating systems
7. 3 years of experience in Export Compliance, Trademark and Copyright processes
8. 3 years of experience in Agile Scrum Methodology
9. 3 years of experience in JIRA
10. 3 years of experience in Confluence.
