As a Tech Lead for our Analytics Platform (KNIME) you will:
  • Help Siemens Financial Services to scale the Citizen data community ensuring higher data literacy within the Organization, acting as an Evangelist by:
    • Moderating the KNIME Citizen Developer Community
    • Being the Key Technical Expert for KNIME for the whole community and related stakeholders
    • Provide Development Guidelines & Best Practices to the Organization
    • Leverage Low Code Machine Learning & Data Science Use Cases
    • Create and Maintain the KNIME Wiki & Knowledge Base
  • Facilitate and solve problems of the Citizen Developers
  • Develop new KNIME Components/Nodes End-to-End
  • Consult the Service Owner / Application Manager on the technical evolution of the KNIME Service (i.e., Technical Roadmap)
  • Build and strength the network within Siemens’ KNIME Community
  • Stay up to date on market trends in the context of Low Code Data Analytics Technologies & Eco-Systems

We are looking for someone with…
  • College degree in Computer Science, Economics, or related field
  • Experience as Data Analyst, Data Warehouse developer, Data Engineer or similar
  • Basic programming skills (Python, Java) & general understanding of IT & IT processes
  • Very good & pro-active Communication skills
  • User-Centric Mindset to enable data literacy & data democratization
  • Experience or willingness to learn KNIME and become an expert (experience in similar technologies e.g. Alteryx, Datameer, etc. is valued) 
  • Experience or willingness to learn related/dependent technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Azure)
  • Hands-on & positive mentality
  • Fluent English skills
