The Digital Industry Business is looking for a Technical Expert for Automation Systems.
Your new role - challenging and future oriented:
- Technical consulting of customers for SIMATIC products and systems - remotely or on site.
- Preparation of technical specifications, technical presentations, demonstration programs and equipment for current and potential customers.
- Analysing and debugging customer PLC & HMI programs.
- Regular communication with technical experts from the service departments at DI
- Frequent participation in technical forums, conferences, trainings - at local level and abroad.
Your qualifications – solid and appropriate:
- Technical background and university degree in the field of Automatics, Electronics, Computer Systems or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Active use of industrial languages for programming PLCs like: Ladder diagram (LAD); Function block diagram (FBD); Structured text (SCL). MCU compilers (C, Pascal, Basic) and JavaScript would be considered as an advantage.
- Fluency in English, German language knowledge is an advantage.
- Communication skills and ability for teamwork.
- Self-driven and proactive approach.
