We are now seeking an experienced Sales Engineer for low and medium voltage switchgear who wants to be a valuable addition to our motivated team.
About the Role
Siemens Smart Infrastructure Electrification & Automation (EA) is a leading provider of relay protection and control equipment, as well as power distribution systems (low- and medium-voltage switchgear).
In this role, you will be responsible for qualified sales, encompassing both technical and commercial aspects of bids, across the entire EA portfolio. The bids you'll oversee involve products and systems, with a primary focus on low and medium voltage switchgears for both power utilities and customers within the industry.

Your main responsibility is to drive the progress of bids, where you, either independently or in collaboration with a bid team, select the most optimal products and solutions from both technical and commercial perspectives, aligning them with customer requirements and preferences.
Our team is spread across the country, so the location is flexible. We prefer placements in Västerås, Solna, Malmö, or Gothenburg, but other locations are also possible.

Who Are We Looking For?
To excel in this role, you should be an electrical engineer or possess equivalent knowledge through work experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of the energy sector and the technical aspects of electrical/power distribution and low-voltage switchgear applications.
You thrive in cooperation and in managing bid projects is highly valuable, so you should have a structured approach to work.
You're motivated by providing world-class service and solving complex problems, both internally and externally. Your strong interest in technology and solutions has equipped you with extensive knowledge and experience in the energy sector.
We believe you have/are:
- A good understanding of the technical background of electrical/power distribution, as well as low-voltage switchgear applications, including different types of electrical power plants and facilities.
- Proficient in comprehending electrical installations and reading circuit diagrams.
- A technical education, University or gymnasium.
- Motivated, efficient, and responsible for driving your area of responsibility and tasks independently.
- Enjoying collaborating with colleagues to enhance team performance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A valid driver's license.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English.
