We currently have the following opportunity available for a Talent Acquisition Partner located in Orlando, Florida reporting into the Organizational Development & Talent Acquisition team.
This Talent Acquisition Partner will support and drive the talent acquisition delivery in country by primarily partnering and consulting the BPO provider on day to day recruitment. Besides locally rolling out global policies, procedures and processes set out by Center of Expertise (CoE), the individual will train and develop the hiring community on interviewing & hiring best practices, deploy employer branding activities, manage university relationships in partnership with the business and work closely with HRS and BPO provider to ensure delivery is at the expected service level.
· The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement for the HR BPO. Actively support senior manager recruiting across all business divisions at a country level (incl. assigned countries where needed) and drive delivery from the HR BPO teams to build country, business and industry knowledge.
· The ideal candidate will position Siemens Gamesa as an employer of choice in order to attract the best talents for SGRE.
· This position collaborates closely with the BPO provider, Local HR S team, Center of Expertise (CoE), Global HR, and external recruitment agencies and primarily focusses on supporting line managers and HR Business Partners in attracting, selecting and hiring the right talent.
· The ideal candidate is part of the HR community on a global scale and recruits across business divisions and could be responsible for more than one country.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to capture and understand business, technical and cultural requirements for successful talent acquisition and retention
· Support in managing relationship with Global HR BPO, monitor service levels and KPI’s and identify improvements for the BPO including educating them on industry related hiring practices to build effective candidate pipelines for future roles including quality shortlists for live vacancies.
· Determine best-fit hiring model in line with global standards, screen the market for talent and drive active sourcing activities such as headhunting for leadership and critical positions together with BPO provider
· Define sourcing strategy, incl sourcing channels, and drive headhunting for leadership and critical positions, consulting with line managers and HR Business Partners in the selection of the right candidates for the business
· Undertake entry level talent attraction and sourcing activities in line with the overall TA strategy and represent Siemens Gamesa at job fairs in order to attract talent from schools, Universities and local institutions in partnership with Local HR and the Business.
· Build and develop the local SGRE employer brand by identifying industry, country and competitor trends and choosing the right platform for SGRE as an employer of choice in line with the overall framework defined by CoE and Global HR Service organization
· Drive any recruiting ramp ups in partnership with business, local HR and Global HR BPO
· Identify trends and patterns to improve delivery of talent acquisition activities from Global HR BPO as part of the HR service community at SGRE globally
· Keep up to date with advancements in assessment, technology and innovation within Talent Acquisition and ensure contribution to overall TA strategy, processes and policies in partnership with the CoE and global HR service organization
· Keep up to date in partnership with HR Business Partners and Legal with any country specific legal, regulatory or requirements for hiring talent for e.g. diversity and inclusion or gender pay gap
· Ensure partnership with the right recruitment agencies to support with SGRE hiring activities at a competitive rate and update Preferred Supplier List accordingly.
· Lead organizational development projects and initiatives for North America
· Other tasks and responsibilities assigned by manager
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology / HR or comparable education
· Extensive practical working experience with attraction and scouring of labor at all levels within an international environment
· Knowledge and experience with a variety of recruitment strategies, sourcing channels, technology with an ability to build and develop existing TA proposition
· Experience with direct sourcing through various sourcing channels and methods including headhunting.
· Excellent stakeholder skills with the ability to challenge and partner with hiring managers effectively
· Ability to deal with volumes and ambiguity
· Tenacity and a can-do attitude to find the best talent in the market
· Ability to effectively communicate, develop and maintain relationships both internally in the HR department and externally with talents and candidates at all levels of experience
· Attention to detail, confidentiality, influencing skills and the ability to prioritize
· Excellent written and verbal English skills
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience
· Experience with BPO setup and / or close collaboration with external Recruiting Vendors is a big plus
· Any knowledge of Workday is highly desirable
· Good market knowledge within the renewable energy sector; an existing network is highly desirable
· Additional language skills are highly advantageous
