Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
· You will join our central bid department for international projects in the area of railway signaling and safety systems (onboard and trackside)
· You will be responsible for the entire architecture of complex signaling and safety systems comprising various subsystems, and will act as the central point of contact in the bid process for all project partners, both internal and external
· You will define the technical interfaces in consultation with customers, suppliers and department units, ensuring that they are compatible and that the various subsystems interact properly
· You will translate the conceptual formulation into planning documentation, which also encompasses the technically challenging areas of claim and risk management
· You will monitor the overall integration and the technical project results, and provide support during the approval procedure
Your qualifications – solid and appropriate
· You have completed university studies (degree/masters) in a technical, scientific or IT-related field
· You have several years’ professional experience as a system manager and/or in the field of system integration. We also welcome applications from software architects who have worked in a hardware-related environment
· If you already have some experience of railway engineering, this would be advantageous but is not essential
· You have a good command of MS Office and MS Visio, and have already worked with SAP
· Knowledge of MS Project and CAD systems is desirable
· You understand how to integrate technical and non-technical stakeholders within a complex system architecture
· The highly international nature of your role requires you to have a very good command of English. Ideally, you will also have German language skills
