What do you contribute?
- Your new job will take you into engineering for door, step and transition systems of our state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly rail vehicles for regional transport. For the above-mentioned systems, you will take responsibility from concept creation to integration into the vehicle and beyond.
- To this end, you will be involved from the start of the project, e.g. by evaluating and commenting on the bids with regard to technical aspects (esp. designs).
- In the course of the project, you will take on comprehensive activities within the scope of project management from an engineering perspective and create specifications for suppliers, evaluate their offers, clarify queries and manage changes.
- You coordinate with various internal and external interface partners (e.g. suppliers, customers, plant, commissioning) - and ensure the achievement of engineering milestones.
- You are involved from the start of the project throughout all project steps and therefore also provide support during initial installation, are involved in the approval process and, if necessary, also provide support during the warranty phase - in this varied environment, you can make full use of your skills.
What do you bring along?
- You have completed your master's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or industrial engineering.
- In your previous professional activity, you have already gained sound and several years of experience in an engineering or project management related activity. You enjoy design and the selection of suitable materials as well as coatings - you can read and comment on technical drawings, it is no problem for you to evaluate a 3D CAD model.
- Due to the extensive interface/project work, very good communication skills are a prerequisite.
- You have a business fluent command of the German and English language to be able to cope in our international colleague, customer and supplier environment.
- Further knowledge like Microsoft Office, Creo Elements, SAP, AutoCad, etc. is desirable.
