Job profile:
BOP Mechanical – STG Train
• Responsible to prepare steam turbine auxiliaries system P&IDs, TG hall and TG / TC deck layout. Preparation of balance of plant items purchase specification and vendor offer technical evaluation.
• Visit to sites, identify the existing equipment utilization and new equipment installation in existing layout as per piping routing suitability with operation guidelines of the equipment.
• Knowledge and familiar with API standard.
• Knowledge of piping engineering routing like turbine drain piping, lube oil piping and control oil piping etc.
• Customized auxiliary’s equipment’s design as per space constrain and customer application.
• Provide support to manufacturing, inspection quality, site for resolving critical technical issue by detailed study & root cause analysis.
• Translate site measurement / reverse engineering data into manufacturing drawings so that flange to flange matching in foot-print replacement is achieved.
• Ensure and maintain the quality of documentation & drawings, ensure adequacy of specifications for meeting the quality / construction requirements in order to meet & maintain the quality requirements of design.
• Ensure designed product/components meet the statutory requirement in order to meet the statutory requirements.
• Review of balance of plant auxiliaries G.A. drawings and PIDs for system house and piping layout.
• Work as a team member for maintaining the design process in order to meet Customer / quality requirements.
Qualification: -
1. B-Tech / M-Tech mechanical engineering
2. 6+ experience hands of experience of BOP auxiliaries’ items design & operation
3. Advance Knowledge of power plant, steam cycle, steam drain cycle, water cycle & cooling water cycle
4. Having advanced knowledge of PIDs & TG/TC set Layout.
5. Having good command on 2D software like AutoCAD and additional knowledge of 3D modelling software NX, PTC Creo
6. Know-how of API & ASME, HEX & TEMA Standard
7. Basic Knowledge of turbine construction & steam turbines.
