What do you contribute?
You’ll create impact by designing locomotive controls infrastructure and architecture. This includes the whole engineering process from requirements definition via system design to implementation and continuous improvement.
- You’ll define and develop locomotive control architecture.
- You collaborate with hardware suppliers to integrate different controls components.
- You coordinate with other departments and project teams for cross functional topics and integration solutions.
- You define system requirements and specifications for integration of sate of the art control components.
- You ensure system development according to general and railway standards.
- You focus your work on the reusability of work results in terms of product and technical platform strategies.
What do you bring along?
- Your success is grounded a master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- You have gained longstanding years of experience in PLC software development.
- You excel in extensive experience with railway systems and electrical interfaces.
- Sie haben fundierte Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen standortübergreifend Teams und der Abstimmung mit internen und externen Stakeholdern.
- You communicate fluently in English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
- You are open for occasional, international business travels (approx. 10%).
