The role.
As System Architect - Engineering, you’ll be responsible for Electrical Engineering & Drives System control software programming of Mobile Mining AC Drive systems. Able to provide support to the existing product portfolio for the Mining Electric Excavators and Mining Haul Trucks.

Responsibilities.

  • Understand the customer requirements and the requirement specifications to engineer the power & control electronics architecture
  • Build key documents of the product portfolio to enable aftermarket spare parts sales and services
  • Interact with multi-functional teams within engineering and with quality, sales, and marketing to successful product solutions and services
  • Able to travel to global job sites to validate the crafted systems to confirm the performance

In your role you will lead or support

  • Develop new & maintain existing mobile mining product portfolio power & control electronics architecture and Drives system control software
  • Address components obsolescence during the product life cycle
  • Program, Maintain control systems on Siemens proprietary controls software
  • Travel to job sites to validate the crafted systems and controls software to the products requirements and performance

Your profile.

  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical system engineering on variable speed AC Drives
  • Understanding of power electronics and MV variable speed drives technology and applications
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical contexts and acquire knowledge in the technical field
  • Ability to learn and develop drive system control software and maintain existing product portfolio
  • Willingness to learn and support technical product issues as needed

The pay range for this position is $79,900 - $137,100. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
