The Siemens Industry, Inc.distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking a Switchboard Coordinator tobe an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. This role assembles andmodifies electromechanical equipment with the use of mechanical tools and blueprints. You will make impact by the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Assemble standard Sentron productsaccording to standard procedures.
- Perform repetitive assembly operations toinclude: Placing parts in specified relationship to each other, fasteningcomponent parts on frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies, screw, fastenparts together using hand tools or powered tools; test and adjust as necessary.
- Processes work orders (with the use ofcomputers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule orexpedited orders.
- Gathers parts and accessories required inthe assembly process.
- Reports non-conforming items.
- Cleans and maintains equipment and workarea to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
- Verifies that units meet specifications,tolerances, and customer order requirements.
- Performs other work as directed bySupervision.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 2 year of Manufacturing /Assembly Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Able to read blue prints
- Basic Computer Skills/ Microsoft OfficeSuite
- Knowledge of basic mechanical/measuringtool use
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Wiring experience and technical aptitude aplus.
- Working experience in SWBD products is aplus
- SAP knowledge to complete Confirmationsand Reports is a plus
