Join our team nowat Siemens Healthineers as SustainingEngineering Department Manager. This position is located in Knoxville, TN.

This is a role wellsuited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.As the Sustaining Engineering Manager, you will be responsiblefor:

  • Provide sustaining engineering services to enable the production and testing of PET biomarkers to ensure efficiency, operational compliance, and profitable growth.
  • Manage the team responsible for designing and developing improvements for released products, processes, and equipment.
  • Oversee the administration of software solutions used to support biomarker manufacturing processes to ensure functionality for the manufacturing sites.
  • Provide second tier technical support for all biomarker manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Implement improvements for production processes and analytical methods used to prepare and test biomarkers.
  • Recommend strategic changes to our way of working, including participation in the financial decisions and execution for end of life.
  • Develop a team of ambitious professionals to make the most of their talents and foster a good working environment and morale.

This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what isbelow, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers

  • You should have familiarity with radiopharmaceutical production, preferably biomarkers beyond FDG, NaF, and NH3, including the ability to troubleshoot problems. 
  • Familiarity with analytical methods and equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • You should be intimately familiar with PETNET procedures and the PETNET Quality system.
  • You should have a strong attention to detail and good organizational skills to be ready to manage multiple projects with quality results.

Required skills to have for the successof this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related Sciences or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years biomarker production
  • Willing to travel up to 10%
