What part will you play?

In your new role you are ensuring Supplier Quality in our Operations and Projects by securing given SQM requirements. The focus is clear on preventive actions including supplier qualifications and their deliveries according to technical specifications. You are a member of the Quality Department and take part in the Procurement network. Your key tasks includes:
  • Ensuring the implementation of the Business Unit SQM requirements regarding preventive actions, technical specifications and qualification of suppliers. 
  • Governance of quality assurance agreements in assigned areas and monitoring their implementation.
  • Overall planning and executing of supplier audits including follow ups and confirming respective measures implementation.
  • Initiating lessons learned activities related to suppliers among SQM community.  
  • Supporting standardized supplier qualification process implementation according to corporate guidelines (Ready for business) together with the procurement department. 
  • Monitoring SQM KPI´s and ensuring improvement actions together with the colleagues from the global QM&GCC department.
  • Regularly updating standardized supplier qualification process according to requirement of the Business Unit. 
  • Qualification and approval of suppliers in cooperation with procurement and technical specialists from our business unit.
  • Ensuring that suppliers are covered with Quality Assurance Agreements together with Procurement.  
  • Supporting implementation of Sustainability measures as required.
  • You report to the Head of Quality Excellence.
What you need to make real what matters.
  • You successfully completed your master’s degree or comparable qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent .  
  • Besides you have longterm experience in Supplier Quality Management and/or Quality Management.
  • You are an experienced and certified auditor according to VDA 6.3 or equivalent .
  • You convince with core quality methods like FMEA, 8D methodology, Ishikawa Diagram, 5Why and VSM. 
  • You are experienced dealing with Global Networks with good communication skills 
  • Fluent English and German are required for this position.
