What will you do?

This is a contract position to cover a maternity leave. The Order Management Team is responsible for supporting several business units within Digital Industries and Smart Infrastructure, Electrical Products. The Supervisor of this team is responsible for:

• Managing customer order activity through the order fulfillment cycle.
• This individual will serve as an escalation point to assist in resolving issues with sales orders and delivery.
• This position has a significant impact of the financial management of the revenue stream. There is a requirement to work with various departments and levels of management to resolve customer issues.
• Demonstrate expertise in data analysis, problem solving, bringing new ideas and creative solutions to existing processes and issues.
• Increase productivity within the team through Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives, ensuring individual workload balance.
• Build strong relationships with manufacturing locations and field sales to support customer’s needs.
• Provide leadership and expertise within the department and ensure that a clear training and development plans are in place for all team members.
• Take a proactive approach to ensuring best in class Customer Experience is achieved.
• Lead a team of 9 direct reports.

What will you need to succeed?

• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of two years experience in motivating and leading a team to success, with good people development skills. Leadership experience in managing a project or operational processes will also be considered.
• Minimum of two years involvement of developing robust Supply Chain and Order Management processes.
• Experience using SAP.
• Target driven and knowledge of Lean with experience of continuous improvement and proven use of problem-solving tools.
• Ability to communicate at all levels and influence key stakeholders.
• Committed to providing a ‘Customer First’ Experience.
• Organised and methodical with good attention to detail.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset but not requried
