What do you contribute?
- In this role, you will be responsible for the schedule management of global rail vehicle projects. Within the project assigned to you, you will report professionally to the overall project manager and liaise closely with internal and external project participants.
- You will develop the concept for schedule management and the schedule structure, considering the project requirements (e.g. structuring, data integration, reporting, etc.).
- You will derive project deadlines from the tender and contract documents in co-operation with the project managers and specialist functions in accordance with instructions.
- You integrate partial schedules into the overall schedule, including the presentation of the critical path.
- You will regularly monitor adherence to deadlines and project progress (target/actual comparison) in all project phases and update the overall schedule.
- You will create schedule analyses (critical path, buffer, milestone trend analysis) in coordination with the project managers. You review the schedule regarding potential critical situations. If deadlines are missed, you develop countermeasures together with the project and the specialist functions and check their effectiveness in the schedule.
- You will be responsible for preparing internal and external schedule progress reports.
What do you bring along?
- The basis of your success is a degree in engineering/economics.
- In addition, you have several years of professional experience as a scheduling manager in the plant/project business or alternatively in project management (preferably in rail vehicle technology).
- You also have advanced knowledge of scheduling methods (network planning, milestone trend analysis) and project planning and controlling methods.
- You will also have advanced knowledge of software-based scheduling tools, preferably Primavera EPPM P6 or similar tools (e.g. MS Project).
- You are business fluent in English and have ideally good knowledge of the German language.
