Tessent Embedded Analytics Product Management Intern
As an intern in the Tessent Embedded Analytics Product Management team, you will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Tessent Embedded Analytics solutions.
The Tessent Embedded Analytics products consist of on-chip circuitry (embedded instruments or IP), software, and software development kits (SDKs) that are used by leading chip or integrated circuit (IC) companies. Our products provide more visibility into how the chip operates when it’s running in a system. This helps engineers who develop embedded software, debug and integrate these chips in systems. Thanks to our products, our customers can bring better and more advanced ICs to market faster.
This team is part of the Tessent division, a market and technology leader of electronic design automation (EDA) software products and on-chip instrumentation for semiconductor design-for-test (DFT), yield analysis, silicon validation, and silicon lifecycle management (SLM).
- You will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Tessent Embedded Analytics solutions.
- Develop testcases and experiments using C, C++, and/or Python that will exercise Tessent Embedded Analytics embedded instruments and SDKs in an FPGA environment to demonstrate usage or issues of our current and future products and technology.
- You will collaborate with a world-wide group of HW and SW development, quality assurance, technical publications, marketing, and field applications engineers.
- You will provide technical feedback to the development team.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Understanding of logic design (ASIC, FPGA, semiconductor). Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL a plus.
- Some experience with a scripting language like Python, Tcl, JavaScript, Perl, etc.) and/or compiled languages like C, C++
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Self-motivated and able to work constructively and productively on a team, as well as independently
- Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills
- Knowledge of the RISC-V instruction set architecture is a plus
