Baseline Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate, master's, or PhD student.
  • Preferably graduating in 2025
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Strategic Research Intern - SaaS Focus

Siemens Digital Industries Software offers a three-month summer internship opportunity for a Strategic Research Intern. As an intern, you can apply your education and problem-solving skills to real-world challenges, contributing to the development of Siemens Software as a Service (SaaS) experience. This internship aims to empower students and cultivate future leaders within our company. 

This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in strategic research, contributing to the transformation of Siemens' product portfolio. You will work closely with professionals in the field, gain exposure to real-world challenges, and have the opportunity to shape the future of our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our users through comprehensive research, actively seeking opportunities to enhance the Siemens SaaS experience.
  • Effectively communicate research findings and translate them into actionable solutions, presenting them to the team and organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate research findings into the strategic road mapping and discovery process, ensuring an informed and effective product experience.
  • Create and maintain documentation for research initiatives, driving continuous improvements in research processes.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, including engineering, customer experience, and business, to deliver impactful experiences to global learners.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with and a desire to learn more about social science research techniques and methodologies applied in natural business environments.
  • Interest in and/or experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., interviewing, ethnographic research, survey design) for practical application. 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment.

 

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $44.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
