Data Analytics (Portfolio Tools) Intern 
The Strategic Operations Teams (STOPs) is an organization within Siemens Digital Industries. The Strategic Operations manages the operational aspects of Portfolio Development, Solution Portfolio Planning and Life Cycle Management.  This team is responsible for developing tools and processes to support these initiatives. Further, we are responsible for working across the SW business to support the execution of these process for DI SW. 

As a data analytics intern on the STOPs Team, you will play a key role in being part of the Transformation Strategic Portfolio Management operations team with the implementation of an Enterprise solution and govern process.  As the primary project, you will support the team with data model defining, data mapping and analysis tied to our Portfolio Tool. You will receive hands-on training and interact with multiple levels across the organization and have the opportunity to participate as a change agent with the development of training materials to support Portfolio Management process.  As the intern the manager will mentor you to support Portfolio Management transformation to support process. The STOPS Team Manager holds weekly team meetings to share updates on individual efforts. The intern and his/her Mentor will also have individual meetings at minimum once per week to review progress.
Organization Requirements:
  • Studying for a degree in Data Analytics or related field 
  • Enthusiastic about evaluating, synthesizing, organizing data and information in a collaborative mentorship program.
  • Possess leadership, communication, and people skills with a work ethic.
  • Sharp and tenacious trouble shooting skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, investigative, and communication skills
  • Dependable and detail-oriented
  • Experience in tools such as Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, reporting tools Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • Inspire working in teamwork, as well as independently. 



Data Analytics (Process Tools) Intern 
The Strategic Operations Teams (STOPs) is an organization within Siemens Digital Industries. The Strategic Operations manages the operational aspects of Portfolio Development; Solution Portfolio Planning and Life Cycle Management.  The main focus will be further development of our online platforms, “how to” guides and automation for our Accelerated Launch & Review Team (ALRT).  This team is responsible for developing tools and processes to support these initiatives. Further, we are responsible for working across the SW business to support the execution of these process for DI SW. 

Other project opportunities will be linked to development of training materials to support Strategic Processes.  The intern will be mentored by the manager and learn about Product Deployment and the supporting processes. The STOPS Team Manager holds weekly team meetings to share updates on individual efforts. The intern and his/her Mentor will also have individual meetings at minimum once per week to review progress.

Organization Requirements:
  • Studying for a degree in Data Analytics or related field 
  • Some computer programming experience is a plus (but not required)
  • Passionate about participating in a collaborative mentorship program
  • Proactive leader with a strong work ethic
  • Sharp and tenacious trouble shooting skills
  • Exceptional analytical, investigative, and communication skills
  • Dependable and detail-oriented
  • Commanding grasp of Microsoft office
  • Inspire teamwork

  • The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $44.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
