Industry Strategy & Marketing & Global Execution – Operations & Analytics Team
Marketing Data Analyst & Communication Intern

At Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will join a globally distributed team that’s driving the future of marketing. The Marketing Data Analyst & Communications intern role is an exciting opportunity to work on end-to-end processes, data needs, and system flows in a SaaS transformational organization. The position will assist in projects with data analytics, reporting, A|B testing, website personalization, organizational training, and digital marketing. Core responsibilities:

Analytics:
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for the software marketing division.
  • Build and deploy web analytics reporting supporting the go to market strategy.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and metrics across the organization.
  • Regularly analyze and report on the division's performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
Communication:
  • Draft and review communications, presentations, and reports.
  • Build and maintain SharePoint sites for internal communication and enablement.
  • Facilitate effective communication flow within the organization.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal/external stakeholders.

A|B Testing & Personalization:
  • Prepare agenda and materials for meetings involving the VP, including quarterly team huddles, operations reviews and GMAR meetings.
  • Ensure that the VP is well-prepared for meetings, providing necessary background information.

Project Management:
  • Oversee key projects and initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to meet project objectives.
  • Document meeting outcomes, action items, and follow up on task completion.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of analytics, data science, information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • Data visualization experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such SQL, Python, R, or equivalent.
  • Experience with data gathering and manipulation (merging datasets, identifying missing data, data cleansing).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to pattern match and notice anomalies within large sets of data.
  • Possess strong communication, planning, scheduling, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills with ability to handle multiple tasks at once and provide suggestions for possible solutions.
  • Creative, motivated, solution-oriented and challenge seeking.
  • Work independently and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision but also be a good team player who can work well in a multi-cultural environment.
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $44.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
