Graphic Design/Multimedia Intern
As a graphic design intern, you will work alongside senior designers on a creative team to design visual materials for digital marketing initiatives. You will be an integral part of the marketing team - brainstorming, coordinating and collaborating across the department and company to bring projects to life from concept to execution. You will gain professional experience translating complex concepts into captivating visual graphics. Your role will be integral to the team, involving problem-solving, attention to detail and a dedication to crafting visually stunning B2B marketing materials.

Specifically, you will be a part of the Derivative Content Execution team. This content team supports the execution and performance of global marketing campaigns with creative, quick-turnaround, digestible pieces of engagement content using constant iteration and testing. The types of assets you will be designing include image creation (retouch, resize, edit), web banner ads (static and animated), infographics, event collateral (banner stands, backwalls, hanging displays, etc.), social media posts/ads (static and animated), whitepapers and ebooks.

You will have the opportunity to gain skills working independently and collaboratively among our team to: 
  • Build knowledge of creative trends in tech, branding, advertising and related industries
  • Gain experience leading design projects from inception to completion, encompassing campaigns and cross-functional design endeavors
  • Refine organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently 
  • Strengthen ability to collaborate and manage a request queue with creative services team
  • Develop your voice and communication skills to work with stakeholders and teammates to align with messaging strategies and communication objectives, ensuring visual outputs mirror project intent
  • Actively impact performance of marketing execution by initiating and facilitating visuals for A/B testing
  • Foster respect for the integrity of the Siemens Digital Industries Software brand, ensuring all designs and graphics remain on-brand as the visual identity evolves
  • Expand knowledge of design trends across channels (social, email, display, etc.)Strengthen flexibility to adjust strategies and adapt swiftly for project success
  • Cultivate professional proficiency using Microsoft Office tools and Adobe Creative Suite

Organization Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
  • Sophomore or junior status preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Passionate, self-driven and proactive
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills 
  • Keen attention to detail and a knack for meeting tight deadlines 
  • Growth mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $44.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
