Baseline Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a university student (undergraduate or graduate)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
- Preferred Graduation: 2025-2026
- Location: Chicago MxD – Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote)

Digital Lifecycle Pre-Sales Intern
Global Sales
The Pre-Sales Intern role at Siemens Industry Software Inc. is an exciting opportunity for students to engage with the Pre-Sales organization, showcasing Siemens' software products to prospects and customers. Interns will be instrumental in guiding these stakeholders through the journey of adopting or expanding Siemens' software in their organizations. This includes working with the Pre-Sales Team on Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and also assisting in developing demonstrations. The role is based in Chicago MxD, offering a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Showcase and demonstrate software to new customers, starting from RFI requests and potentially RFQs.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and account orchestrators to develop quotations.
- Follow the strategic value selling framework: discover, define, confirm, and deliver.
- Understand customer requirements, showcase the advantages of Siemens software, and leverage best practices.
- Work on projects that assist in selling and showcasing products, with opportunities to learn and develop.
- Shadow calls, present, and create deliverables for use in Siemens sales processes.
- Help in hosting Customers/Prospects at MxD
Qualifications:
- Educational background in engineering or computer science.
- Expected graduation years: 2025-2027.
- Strong technical skills and an openness to grow and learn.
- Ability to dive into technical details and present in front of customers/prospects.
- Soft skills crucial for sales, including collaboration, hunger to learn new things, and effective interaction with customers and prospects.

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00 for technical roles or $18.00 to $44.00 for non-technical positions. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
