BaselineRequirements:

SoftwareDevelopment Intern

Asan intern in Calibre Fab Initiative group, you will help developing SW/Testingmodules for several product lines in the group You will have the opportunity todesign, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products, withfocus on surpassing customers’ expectations by achieving high quality and ontime delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall functionalquality of the released product on all required platforms andmechanism. You will also create, document, and execute software designswhich may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas.  Whileyou will work with general supervision on complex projects and have theopportunity to partner with senior engineers, it will also be important to actwith independent judgment when necessary.

Projectswill focus on:


SWdevelopment:

·        Experiencewith python/ C++ and object oriented programming

·        Assistin maintaining our existing software product by analyzing and definingsolutions to reported problems

·        Ensureongoing quality of our software product for our customers


OrganizationRequirements:

·        Currentlypursuing a Bachelor’s degree, or a first year Master’s student, in ComputerScience

·        Python/C/C++required

·        Experiencewith Machine Learning is plus

·        Proficientin Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel PowerPoint)

·        Passionate,driven, and proactive

·        Stronganalytical and problem solving skills

·        Effectiveorganizational and time management skills 

·        Desireto continuously improve and learn about new areas

·        Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills

·        Inspirescollaboration


The hourlyrange for this position is $22.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of healthand wellness benefits to employees.
