CAE EngineerIntern
The intern will beresponsible for performing CFD-related projects for customers from a variety ofindustries. This may involve editing CAD, constructing and solving models,processing the results and explaining the results to customers via lineplots aid in our customer’s design decisions. Strengths in engineeringfundamentals are required for this role. Strong written and verbal communication are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Application of fluid mechanics and heat transfer fundamentals to real-world industry applications
- Development and analysis of high fidelity CFD models using Simcenter STAR-CCM+
- Preparation of technical reports
RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
- Experience with engineering simulation software (CFD a plus)
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new skills and adapt to customer needs
- Excellent communication, organization and time management

PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Fluid Dynamics coursework
- Experience with commercial CFD software
- Programming experience with Java and/or C++
The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
