Steam Path Design Drafter

Specific Requirements


Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking a highly experienced individual for a positionas a Steam Path Design Drafterlocated in Wellsville, NY.SGT is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization.We are seeking a self-driven individual to support Steam PathDesign Drafting. This role is expected toperform typical steam path design drafting activities such as:

·  Create and check steam path detail drawings, layouts, bills of material, part numbers and other drawings for services and new units
·  Follow established procedures for drawing creation and release
·  Consult frequently with project manager, project engineer, design engineer and sales
·  Process design changes with engineering, manufacturing engineering, machinist, assembler, and supplier consultation as needed
·  Act as liaison with shop and other internal customers concerning steam path drawings
·  Overtime to meet on time delivery needs of the various contracts and projects
·  Perform root cause analysis and corrective action on non-conformances

Qualifications:

·  AAS/AOS degree
·  3-5 years of experience relating to drafting
·  Strong organizational and analytical skills
·  Detail oriented and ability to prioritize work and multitask effectively
·  Ability to work well in both a team setting and independently
·  Capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and motivated to drive change and foster an environment to help achieve business results
·  Communicate effectively with all levels of management both orally and in written form
·  High level of competency in all Microsoft Windows products

Security Clearance :

Candidate must be a US citizen and will be subject to a government security investigation to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information if required at a later date.
