Mission:
- Developing a high fidelity model of all processes as a first step in designing the new factory that operates with highest capacity and quality. This model will identify areas for improvement, and ensure that the products will be delivered in the shortest time.
- As well as conduct production time study and manufacturing lean implementation
Responsibilities:
- Structure production devices’ 3D models and maintain the functional elements of production devices in Teamcenter platform, 3D planning for factory layout.
- Develop discrete event simulation models for various parts of the manufacturing and assembly line – PCBA, subsystem assembly, computer, and cabinet for factory material flow, production bottleneck & capacity.
- Develop a decision making framework with quantifiable tradeoffs for the entire factory and manufacturing process including materials planning, line design, and capacity improvements
- Simulation for checking the bottleneck and capacity of new equipment to provide a business benefit, assess total cost of implementation and investment return.
- Optimize plant layout by analyzing capabilities, bottlenecks, and buffer sizing, and material flow
- Develop a visualization framework to capture both high level factory operation and detailed subsystem operation and generate concise, clearly communicated analysis for stakeholders
- Mentor and train simulation practitioners on simulation concepts and skills to advance simulation capabilities.
- Conducts time studies and derives time standards for new product routing time.
- Conducts time and motions studies and simulation to delivery time standards for mass production products and maintain SAP touting time.
- Production Line diagnostics with Plant Simulation to make continuously progress to build the lean factory
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in plant simulation and modeling as well as IE working experience of complex electronic products manufacturing environments
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain and logistics
- Proficient with Siemens teconomatix plant simulation tool and Matlab or Python
- Lean manufacturing certification preferred, or similar operating systems preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to manage several projects at the same time in a variable environment
- Process simulation with Siemens Technomatix is preferred
- 3D solid modeling experience using a CAD software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks is preferred
- Ability to speak and write effectively at all organizational levels
- Have systematic working ideas, good communication skills and coordination ability
- Strong personality and leadership, Motivation for continuous improvement
- Good English listening, speaking, reading and writing
